Essex Steam Train uses two diesel locomotives (0900 and 0901) to power their popular Dinner Train. Each of these locomotives have two diesel engines that drive generators to produce the power needed to run four large motors. These motors are attached to each axle of the train operating the same way as all modern diesel locomotives.
