Join us at Essex Station for a spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration that promises a night of nostalgia, fun, and unforgettable moments! Get ready for a dazzling evening filled with trains, libations, mystery, dining, dancing, and a champagne toast to ring in the new year at midnight.
Kick off the festivities with a groovy cocktail hour aboard our vintage train cars. Savor your favorite drinks while our dining attendants serve delicious hors d’oeuvres to ignite the party atmosphere!
After your train ride, step into the beautifully decorated Dickinson Ballroom for a decadent dining experience. Grab a drink and prepare for a thrilling twist: you and your date will be immersed in a 1970s disco complete with a captivating performance by the Murder Mystery Company. Can you solve the mystery while enjoying a fabulous meal?
Once the crime is cracked and dinner is finished, get ready to hustle, bump, or even attempt the funky chicken to the incredible sounds of Jen and Tonic! With dance leads and instruction available, you can polish your moves, learn some new steps, or simply have a blast counting down to 2025!
Come dressed to impress in your most sparkly disco attire—think platform boots, wide collar tuxedos, and all the glitter you can muster!

6:15pm – 6:30pm: Check in at the Essex Station Ticket Window
6:30pm- 7:45pm: Premium open bar and chef selected passed appetizers aboard train
8:00pm – 10:00pm: Dinner and Murder Mystery at Essex Station/Open bar until 9:30pm
10:00pm – 12:30am: Dessert table / Jen and Tonic band / Dance Instruction / Cash Bar
