A new detective has arrived at the Essex Steam Train. The Essex Steam Train is excited to introduce a new face to the crew aboard our afternoon train rides: Caspian Holmes. As the grandson of Sherlock Holmes, Caspian is carrying on a long lost family tradition by establishing a new chapter of the Bright Eyed Rogue Detective Society (BERDS).

Our favorite springtime tradition returns this April! Hop aboard the Bunny Breakfast & Egg Hunt excursion, departing Essex Station April 3rd & 4th. Enjoy light breakfast noshings, scenic views of the budding Connecticut River Valley, and a visit from our special guest with a bushy tail. The experience concludes with a fun-filled egg hunt in our meadow, making this charming event a great way to celebrate the season as a family.
