Family-friendly Maze Open Now on Weekends and Holidays

Essex Steam Train & Riverboat and Bishop’s Orchards are happy to announce the opening of the 2017 Corn Maze at Bishop’s Orchards in Guilford, CT.  All aboard the newly designed family-friendly corn maze, which is in the shape of a steam train due to the unique partnership.

The maze is open now until Friday, November 3 (pending weather conditions) on weekends and holidays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last admission is at 4:45 p.m.). Admission is $7.00 per person, plus tax, with children under 2 free.

For every corn maze entry, Essex Steam Train & Riverboat will be giving away a $2.00 discount voucher towards their daytime Santa Special holiday excursion.

The corn maze is located at Bishop’s Main Orchard at 526 New England Road, 2 ¾ miles from the Farm Market in Guilford (signs will direct patrons from the Farm Market, located off of I-95 Exit 57 at 1355 Boston Post Road). The maze is filled with elaborate pathways and new interactive games and puzzles. The middle features a lookout, where you can see the entire field from above. Corn maze hours are subject to change due to weather and field conditions. Bishop’s 24/7 info line at 203-458-7425 will be updated daily.

Come September 15, patrons will be able to redeem their $2.00 off voucher to Essex Steam Train’s Santa Special daytime excursions.  Coach tickets are $24, and First Class tickets are $40 per person age 1 and older. Santa Special trains leave Essex Station at 1 Railroad Ave., Essex, CT, various dates in December.
