The steam locomotive pulls vintage coaches through the quintessential New England towns of Deep River and Chester.

It was recognized as the largest remaining unprotected coastal forest between Boston and New York before its acquisition for conservation) while enjoying the stunning New England fall weather. Upon returning to Essex Station, hop on board our vintage coach train cars to enjoy a 2.5 hour train & riverboat excursion north through the Lower Connecticut River Valley and on the Connecticut River.
