Kick off your Father’s Day celebrations this year with a morning cruise on the Becky Thatcher Riverboat! It’s our first Donuts with Dad breakfast celebration and we will be featuring a giant selection of delicious treats from the Flanders Donut Shop in East Lyme! 

Essex Steam Train & Riverboat’s 2 1/2-hour journey begins at the historic 1892 Essex Station for a 12-mile, narrated round-trip into the heart of the unspoiled Connecticut River Valley. The steam locomotive pulls vintage coaches through the quintessential New England towns of Deep River and Chester.

Come aboard the Becky Thatcher for a fun afternoon with dad, grandad, dog dad, dad to be, stepdads or dads at heart! Let’s celebrate all of these great men in our lives! 

We will be featuring a selection of beer from Surfridge Brewing Co. and dad gets his first beer on us. Additional beverages can be purchased on board the boat

All aboard the elegant Essex Clipper for a 4-course meal served in beautifully restored 1920’s Pullman diners pulled by a vintage diesel locomotive.
